Overlooking the beautiful clear waters of Pittwater on Sydney’s northern beaches, nestled in the native tree lined canopy are eight unique and individually designed homes. Envisioned by renowned Australian architect Mark Hurcum, whose personal love of Pittwater and nature have enabled him to ensure all these homes take full advantage of the beauty on offer. Dappled with natural sunlight, the scent of botanical native bush and the sounds of Australian fauna, offer delight for all the senses.

For this project we needed a brand mark and narrative that truly resonated with the target audience. For these absolutely stunning eight luxury residences, we came up with an 'absolute waterfront' story that not only spoke to the beautiful location, but carried an artistic aesthetic that would appeal to the high net worth 'collectors' we deemed the right target market for these prestige homes.

We set about creating the Marara Flying Fish – through the lens of traditional Japanese Gyotaku. About 100 years ago in Japan, fishermen created gyotaku prints to record their prized catches. These beautiful homes represent a prized ‘catch’ in terms of incredible real estate – in an unparalleled location, surrounded with an abundance of natural beauty.
